THE BEST WAY TO BUY!

The prices of everything are forever increasing, and now that Jacinda Adhern PM has put another tax on fuel she has caused severe hardship for low income groups!

It is time to protest, time to block the petrol stsations and the major city roads the same as they did in Germany! However in the meantime we need to be careful how we spend what little money we have!

    THE BEST WAY TO BUY!

We have looked hard and long over the years at the profiteering that goes on in New Zealand by the Manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers! So this is how we spend and have done for some years even when we had businesses ourselves!

Firstly we changed from Countdown to Pak n Save and for 4 people we are saving between 30 and 40 dollars a week on groceries. We never buy green grocery at a super market! they are too expensive. These items we purchase from an Asian Food Market, much cheaper and very good quality!

Many people do not know that the new Supermarket on the block is also owned by Countdown. Why have they done this, created competition to themselves? Well, I think it is because Pak N Save have taken so many customers from their stores and they think that by splitting the market they will get a bigger share. But at what cost and we are the ones paying the increases. Pak N Save are good quality and at the best price!

Fuel for our cars! We only buy at Gull because they are the cheapest in town! We suggest we all boycott the main stream stations. Just think about this it pays to go a bit further for your fuel if it is a few cents cheaper. Laziness costs money go the distance!

Clothes, we always buy at Hospice shops and Save Mart. They have good quality clothes and many times brand new ones donated by the families of the deceased and from end of run factory supplied. Be careful buying at the ware house. They buy from China and China has three qualities. 1) the best quality. 2) middle of the range! 3) Junk! I have photos of some of their products so if they try to get me for lying I can prove my words. Also I have it on good authority from a past Warehouse Buyer that this is true!

So be careful of CHEAP AND NASTY Products!!!

Furniture and linen, DO NOT BUY MODERN JUNK MADE WITH COMPRESSED WOOD CHIPS AND GLUE! THEY DO NOT LAST AND THE MANUFACTURING IS SHOCKING!

SECOND HAND FURNITURE WE FIND IS GREAT. IF THERE IS A PIECE YOU WOULD LIKE THAT MAYBE IS A BIT THE WORSE FOR WEAR, THEN EITHER STRIP IT, SAND IT THEN EITHER PAINT OR VARNISH it. YOURSELF! IF THAT IS NOT YOUR DIY THING GET A QUOTE FROM AN RETIRED ODD JOB MAN AN X CARPENTER OR CABINET MAKER. THEY ADVERTISE ON THE WEB AND IN THE SHOPS! Beds and Mattresses are over the top with their prices. notice more are on sale now. avoid them.Tne hospice and second hand shops have all sizes at good prices. Bedding can be shampooed these days with specialised products!!!

Any furniture that has Hessian covers underneath, make a small opening by the staples and spray insect killer into the area, just in case there is the odd bug hidden away!

Very good linen can be had at the hospice shops. Wash every thing in hot wash and then dry thoroughly, now it is ready for use.

Cars and machinery ie tools. NEVER BUY NEW THE MARK UPS ARE HIGH. IN NZ.THE MARK UPS ARE IN THE RANGE OF 400 TO 800 PERCENT. NOW YOU KNOW WHY THE SHOPS CAN OFFER UP TO 70% OFF. THAT IS PEANUTS TO WHAT THEY HAVE PUT ON. REMEMBER THIS WAS DISCUSSED ON NEWS TALK ZB ONE AFTERNOON AND THE FINAL STATEMENT WAS THAT THE MARK UPS WERE FAR TOO HIGH! AND THAT THEY PUT THEM ON BEFORE THEY TAKE OFF THEIR SALE PRICE!

BE VERY AWARE THAT THE TV ADVERTISEMENT "BUY ONE AND GET ONE FREE" IS FRAUDULENT! YOU ARE PAYING FOR TWO WHEN YOU BUY! THE BEST WAY TO DO THIS AND GET IT AT A FAIR PRICE IS TO TAKE THE CHEAP 30 DAY TRIAL THEN TELL THEM YOU DO NOT WANT IT! THEY CANNOT SELL IT BECAUSE IT IS SECOND HAND AND THEY WILL OFFER IT TOO YOU AT A REASONABLE PRICE. ( THE TYRE PUMP THEY SELL COST 150 DOLLARS AND THEY SAY YOU GET ONE FREE. RUBBISH THE ONE IS ONLY WORTH 75 DOLLARS. THINK ABOUT IT THEY ARE MASSED PRODUCED!

THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT PROTECT US ANY MORE, THEY DO NOT SCREEN OFFENSIVE ADS OR LYING ADS. THAT IS WHY THE TV ADVERTISES  WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH WHAT THEY ARE SCREENING, OR ARE OFFENDED BY THEIR OTHER MATERIAL!

AS FOR CARS I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT A NEW CAR EVEN WHEN I HAD MONEY! WHY?

WELL THE MARK UPS ARE HORRENDOUS, THEY ARE COVERING THE COSTS OF ALL THOSE CARS THEY NEVER SOLD THAT ARE PARKED ALL OVER THIS PLANET!

AND NEVER FORGET THAT THE MINUTE YOU DRIVE IT OFF THE LOT THE PRICE FOR THAT CAR DROPS, SO IT IS NOT AN INVESTMENT AS THEY TELL YOU.

YOU LOSE MONEY AS SOON AS YOU DRIVE IT AWAY! THEN THEY WILL ADVERTISE ALL SORTS OF FREEBIES! SORRY, THAT IS CRAP, FREE SERVICING FOR 3 YEARS, THEY KNOW IT IS RARE FOR A CAR TO HAVE MUCH TROUBLE IN THAT TIME! PLUS THEY HAVE ALLOWED FOR IT IN THE PRICE. Also if you have not looked after the car in the manner they suggest you are not covered!

WHEN i WAS RICH i WOULD PAY UP TO, NEVER MORE THAN $20,00O DOLLARS, FOR A GOOD SECOND HAND CAR!!! Buy privately and use the AA to inspect it for you before you buy! Or use a freind or relation who is a mechanic!

NOW i AM ON A PENSION I BOUGHT A TOYOTA CORROLA FROM AND ELDERLY LADY FOR $2500 DOLLARS, THERE WAS A LITTLE PEELING ON THE PAINT ON THE BONNET BUT APART FROM THAT THERE WAS NOT MUCH ELSE WRONG. IT ONLY HAD 178,000 KS ON THE CLOCK AND AN EXCELLENT RADIO AND SOUND SYSTEM. i HAD IT CHECKED OVER AND THERE WAS NOT ANY RUST IN THE CAR ANYWHERE!

A CAR OR MOTOR BIKE IS A TOOL. IT IS USED TO GET YOU FROM A TO B, SO WHY PAY SUCH A HIGH PRICE FOR A TOOL. YOU WOULD NOT PAY $500 DOLLARS FOR A SCREW DRIVER SO WHY 30 TO 100,000 DOLLARS FOR A CAR? YOU DO NOT LIVE IN IT, IT IS A TOOL AND ONLY A TOOL, SO GET RID OF THE HIGH AND MIGHTY ILLUSIONS OF SELF AND BUY SENSIBLY!

NOW WE HAVE EXTRA MONIES IN OUR BANK AND WHEN EMERGENCIES ARRIVE WE CAN COPE WITH THEM!!!

HAVE A HAPPY DAY AND THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND!
